Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Kolkata has announced vacancies for the position of Manager within the Marine Operations Division. The salary scale for the position ranges from Rs. 21,00,000 to Rs. 2,60,000.

Qualification for Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Kolkata Recruitment 2024

• Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign Going ship issued by the MOS, Govt. of India, or Dredge Master Gr. I, or, an equivalent qualification recognized by the MOS, Govt. of India
• Must hold Pilot License and have eight years experience as Master of a Foreign-going ship or in Piloting or cumulative. OR
• MOT 1st Class (Combined or Motor) certificate issued under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958
• Five years experience as Chief Engineer on board a Foreign-going ship.

Pay Scale for Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Kolkata Recruitment 2024

• A vacancy has arisen for the position of Manager within the Marine Operations Division at Haldia Dock Complex, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata.
• The position offers a scale of pay ranging from Rs.1,00,000 to Rs. 2,60,000/- (pre-revised 243,200 to 66,000/-).

• Applications are invited from eligible and willing officers, who satisfy the provisions of the Recruitment Rules for the post of Manager under Marine Operations Division, HDC, SMP-K.
• The applications are to be submitted in the "Online Application Portal (OAP)" of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways website https://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in from 16.04.2024 to 15.05.2024.
• No application other than those submitted through OAP shall be accepted.
• The candidate shall have to submit the printout of the application in the format (as uploaded by him / her in the OAP) to his / her administrative Port for onward forwarding to HDC, along with all enclosures.
• The administrative Ports are requested to forward the applications of the candidates along with the following documents superscribing the envelope "Application for the post of Manager, Marine Operations Division, HDC, SMP-K", so as to reach the office of the undersigned on or before 30.05.2024
• Copies of APARs for the last 5 years (2018-19 to 2022-23), attested by an officer not below the rank of Dy. HoD on each page.
• If APAR for a particular year is not available, the last available APAR may be furnished, along with a non-availability certificate.
• Self-certified photocopies of all certificates and proof of educational qualification, present and past work experience in the respective post and pay scale.
• No objection certificate from the respective Port to relieve the applicant in the event of his / her selection.
• Undertaking of the applicant to the effect that the candidature will not be withdrawn, if selected by the Service Selection Committee.
• Vigilance and administrative clearance of the concerned Port,
• Two recent passport size colour photographs.
• Complete service details of the applicant with posts held.
