SPM Port Kolkata is hiring for the position of Senior Deputy Manager with three vacancies available. The ideal candidate should hold a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution, with at least twelve years of experience in Planning, Construction, Design, or Maintenance, preferably of Port & Marine Structures in an executive cadre, within an Industrial, Commercial, or Government Undertaking.
Applicants must be below 39 years of age to be considered for this role, and the salary scale ranges from Rs. 32,900 to Rs. 58,000. Applications must be submitted through the Online Application Portal (OAP) of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways website between May 30, 2024, and June 29, 2024. Any application not submitted through the OAP will not be accepted. Additionally, applications received in advance will only be considered if submitted through the proper channel at HDC within 15 days of the last date of receipt, which is July 15, 2024.

The applications are to be submitted in the "Online Application Portal (OAP)" of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways website https://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in from 30.05.2024 to 29.06.2024. No application other than those submitted through OAP shall be accepted.
- In case of receipt of advance copy of application by HDC in respect of any applicant, candidature of the candidate will not be considered if the application is not received through proper channel at HDC within 15 days of last date of receipt of applications, i.e. within 15.07.2024, as per Ministry's advisory / instruction dated 11.08.2021 in respect of filling up the post of Dy. HoD level.
