The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV) is recruiting for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor, with three posts available. The salary ranges from Rs. 1,31,400 to Rs. 1,44,200, and the job location is Vijayawada.

Eligible candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Planning/Engineering/Technology and a Master’s Degree in Planning, both with First Class or equivalent, along with a Ph.D. Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s in Economics/Sociology/Geography and a Master’s Degree in Planning, both with First Class or equivalent, and a Ph.D. are eligible.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related discipline, both with First Class or equivalent, and a Ph.D. are also acceptable. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in teaching/research/industry with a Ph.D. or eight years without a Ph.D. The pay and allowances will follow the 7th CPC scales for Central Government employees, including various benefits. The application fee is Rs. 1,000, with exemptions for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates.

Qualifications Details for SPAV Recruitment 2024
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Planning / Engineering / Technology AND a Master’s Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree AND Ph.D or equivalent in the discipline. OR Master’s in Economics / Sociology/ Geography AND a Master’s Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent in BOTH the two Master’s Degrees AND Ph.D or equivalent in the discipline.
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture AND Masters Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree AND Ph.D or equivalent in the discipline
- Minimum FIVE (05) years’ experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry, for candidates possessing a Ph.D degree; OR Minimum EIGHT (08) years’ experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor / Lecturer for candidates not possessing a Ph.D. degree;
Pay Scale for SPAV Recruitment 2024
The pay and allowances for the posts advertised will be as per the 7th CPC scales applicable to Central Government employees and carry other allowances like House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and Children’s Educational Allowance and eligible for other benefits like Medical, LTC etc., as per Govt of India Rules issued from time to time and as applicable for SPA, Vijayawada.
