Southern Railway Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- Fitter: Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education
- Welder (Gas & Electric): Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education
- Medical Laboratory Technicians: Passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system of education with physics, chemistry and biology (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks)
Southern Railway Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 22/24 years for Freshers/ Ex-ITI, MLT Respectively
Application Fees for Southern Railway Recruitment 2024
A processing fee of Rs. 100/- + service charges as applicable (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
Selection Process for Southern Railway Recruitment 2024
- Entrepreneurship Notification dated 25th September 2019. Criteria for preparing merit list in the selection: Taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% aggregate marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
- Medical examination: Selected candidates shall have to bring Medical Certificate at the time of document verification in the prescribed format as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Para 4 of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992(as amended from time to time).
- The Medical Certificate should be signed by Government Authorized Doctor (Gaz.), not below the rank of Asst. Surgeon of Central / State Government Hospital in terms Railway Board's letter no E(MPP) / 2009/6/14 dated 04.12.2018.
