SNDT Women's University Recruitment 2024 Walk-In Interviews for Assistant Professor on May 22, 2024

SNDT College of Education, Pune, is conducting walk-in interviews for the Integrated Teachers Education Programme (ITEP) Arts Stream on 22nd May 2024. They are seeking Assistant Professors for various subjects including History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, English/Hindi/Modern Indian Language, Communicative Skills in English, and Communicative Skills in MIL/Classical Language Sanskrit.

The positions require candidates to hold a post-graduate degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of fifty-five percent marks, along with a B.Ed. degree with similar marks or equivalent grade. Additionally, candidates must have qualified NET or SET or possess a Doctor of Philosophy in Education or the concerned subject as prescribed by UGC. Desirable qualifications include an M.Ed. or M.Ed. with specialization or a Ph.D. in Education.

For the Assistant Professor in Educational Studies position, candidates should have a post-graduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with similar academic criteria, along with the same qualifications regarding NET/SET/Ph.D. The desirable qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree in Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, or allied subjects. The interviews will be held from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm at SNDT College of Education, Pune, located at Maharshi Karve Vidya Vihar, Karve Road, Pune 411038. Interested candidates are required to bring a copy of their CV and two passport-size photographs.
