SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Deputy Chief Hydraulic Engineer Vacancies ,Check Eligibility at smportkolkata.shipping.gov.in
Applications for the post of Deputy Chief Hydraulic Engineer must be submitted through the Online Application Portal (OAP) on the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways' website at onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in from 03.09.2024 to 03.10.2024. After registering and applying online, candidates must print their filled application and send it, along with the necessary documents, through their Administrative Port. The application should be in a sealed envelope clearly labeled "Application for the post of Dy. Chief Hydraulic Engineer" and sent to the Office of the Secretary, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, 15 Strand Road, Kolkata-700001, by 22.10.2024.
The final deadline for submitting the online application is 03.10.2024. Any incomplete applications or those received after this date will not be considered. Additionally, if the port does not receive the official application within 15 days of the last submission date (by 22.10.2024), even if an advance copy is sent, the candidate’s application will not be considered for the position.
According to the Ministry's instructions, dated 11.08.2021, any Port official who withdraws their candidacy after being selected for a Deputy HoD-level post by the Service Selection Committee will be barred from future selections for Dy. Qualifications Details for SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2024
- Certified copies of ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years, duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Dy. HOD on each page.
- Attested copies of all certificates towards proof of educational qualification, present and past work experience in the respective post and pay scale, duly verified by the forwarding port while sending the application to this port.
- No objection certificate issued by the Head of the office from the respective Ports

- One post of Dy. Chief Hydraulic Engineer under Hydraulic Study Department of SMP, Kolkata (Kolkata Dock System) has fallen vacant w.e.f. 24.08.2024.
- Accordingly, applications are invited for filling up of the said post of Dy. Chief Hydraulic Engineer, in the scale of pay of Rs. 80,000 2,20,000/- (Pre-revised Rs 32,900 58,000/-), under Kolkata Dock System of SMP, Kolkata, by absorption through composite method, as per Notified Recruitment Rules, as at.

- Applications of suitable and willing officers, satisfying the provisions of the Recruitment Rules for the post of Dy. Chief Hydraulic Engineer, may please be submitted through "Online Application Portal (OAP)" of the MoPS&W's website http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in from 03.09.2024 to 03.10.2024.
- Therefore, all the applicants, after registering themselves in the portal, are required to apply for the post through OAP and thereafter a printout of the filled in application along with the following documents may be sent in an envelope, through their Administrative Port, duly superscribing on the envelope "Application for the post of Dy. Chief Hydraulic Engineer", so as to reach the Office of the Secretary, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, 15 Strand Road, Kolkata-700001, on or before 22.10.2024:
- The last date for submission of application is 03.10.2024. Incomplete application or application received after the due date will not be considered.
- As per Ministry's instruction dated 11.08.2021 in respect of filling up the post of Dy. HoD level, in case of receipt of advance copy of application in respect of any applicant by the Port, candidature of the candidate would not be considered by the Port if his/her application is not received within 15 days from the last date of submission of application i.e. 22.10.2024.
- Also, as per aforesaid instruction dated 11.08.2021, Port Officials, who withdraws his/her candidature for the post after his/her selection by the Service Selection Committee, will be liable for debarment from future selection to Dy. HoD level post in all Major Port Authorities for a period of two years.
