Qualification for SGPGIMS Recruitment 2024
Statistician:
- Essential Qualification: Three years Graduate Degree in Mathematics with Statistics/Economics/Operations Research/Agriculture Statistics as one of the major Subjects, with two years research experience in the above mentioned subject OR
- Master's degree in statistics
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Statistics related computer software like SPSS, EPIINFO, EPI-STAT & application packages like MS-Office.
- Candidates must have good command over spoken and written grammatical English.
Social Worker :
- Essential Qualification: Three years graduate degree in Social Work / Medical Sociology / Anthropology / Psychology from a recognised university with five years experience in the relevant community based studies in Health & Social Sciences. OR
- Master's Degree in Social Work/ Medical Sociology/ Anthropology/ Psychology (MA/MSW) OR
- Graduate with a 2 years diploma in Social Work.
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of use of computer software for qualitative and quantitative data analysis, Data collection, documentation, data entry, data cleaning, analysis, data transcription.
Data Entry Operator :
- Essential Qualification: Three years graduate degree from a recognized university (With good command over spoken and written grammatical English) with knowledge of data entry work.
- Desirable Qualification: Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour & at least 3 years experience in operation of PC.
- Knowledge of DTP packages and use of software programmes will be an added qualification.
- Qualification in Stenography/maintenance of accounts, cashbook ledger will be a major advantage.

Statistician :
- Salary: Rs. 32000/- per month
Social Worker :
- Salary: Rs. 32,000/ - per month
Data Entry Operator :
- Salary: Rs. 17000/-per month

Selection Procedure for SGPGIMS Recruitment 2024
The following procedure shall be adopted for short-listing of candidates for an in-person interview.
- (a) There will be a preliminary screening of the eligibility and those eligible will be required to come for a multiple choice question test in English in the areas of social work, basic statistics, word processing , excel, english and basic mathematics.
- The MCQ test will be of one hour duration with 60 questions having one stem and four possible responses out of which a candidate will be required to indicate the best or most appropriate response.
- Each correct response will fetch one mark while each incorrect response will result in a deduction of 1/4th mark.
- The following day for each advertised post the top five ranking candidates will be informed via email and called for an interview.
- In the event of a tie all candidates who tie for the same rank shall be called.
- During the interview a copy of the CV will be taken and all original certificates related to qualifications and age will need to be seen in original.
- The number of posts can increase or decrease and the Director reserves the right to relax the above mentioned eligibility conditions or cancel the advertisement/selection without assigning any reason.
