SECR Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Apprentices Vacancies, Check Eligibility at secr.indianrailways.gov.in
The South East Central Railway, Nagpur Division & Workshop Motibagh, has issued a notification inviting online applications for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rule 1992 for the year 2024-25. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply through the official website https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in from April 10, 2024, to May 9, 2024.
The engagement is for various designated trades, and candidates with disabilities (Divyang) seeking reservation benefits must provide a disability certificate from a competent authority. The last date for submission of applications is May 9, 2024.

Qualifications Details for SECR Recruitment 2024
Matriculation passed or equivalent with minimum 50% marks. National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training. The candidate must fill their 10th & ITI marks on the portal in qualification section; otherwise their application will be automatically rejected. Do not fill any other higher qualification.
Age Limit for SECR Recruitment 2024
- As of April 10, 2024, candidates applying for the Act Apprenticeship program must be between 15 and 24 years old. There are relaxations in the upper age limit: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Divyang (PWBD) and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- Additionally, ex-servicemen can receive an additional relaxation of up to 10 years based on their years of service in the Defence Forces, plus the number of years provided they have served a minimum of 6 months continuously. However, ex-servicemen who have already joined civil government service after utilizing their servicemen status are not eligible.
- Regardless of community, ex-servicemen will be considered under the ex-servicemen quota if available. If there are no vacancies for unreserved (UR) candidates, ex-servicemen from communities with available vacancies will be considered under the ex-servicemen quota.
Pay Scale for SECR Recruitment 2024
The training will be regulated according to standards/syllabus issued by Central Apprenticeship Council. The candidates undergoing training will be eligible for stipend as per Apposited entor Stinend Rate Rs. 8050/- for 2 years ITI course & Rs. 7700/- for 1 years ITI course.
Selection Process for SECR Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] plus ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.
- The shortlisted candidates would be subject to verification of all original testimonials and being found fit in appropriate Medical examination by Railways as applicable for the Workshop and for the other Units of division.

- Online application through the website: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in from 10.04.2024 to 09.05.2024 are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Trade Apprentices under Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rule 1992 in Nagpur Division & Workshop Motibash/Nagpur of South East Central Railway against the following designated trades:

- Before applying, the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other criteria. If erroneously engaged, such candidates shall be immediately dismissed without notice at any stage.
