The Centre for Natural Resources Management at S.D. Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar, Gujarat, is seeking candidates for contractual positions in the research project "Soil Nutrients, Enzyme Activities and Microbial community in Natural farming of coastal and semi-arid agro ecosystems of Gujarat." The walk-in interviews are scheduled for June 1, 2024, at 9:30 AM at the office of the Research Scientist.
The position available is for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with a fixed monthly emolument of Rs. 31,000 plus HRA. The job entails handling research trials in natural and conventional farming, soil sample analysis, data collection and analysis, cost and benefit analysis, and documentation and report preparation.
Applicants must hold an M.Sc. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Economics, or a related field. The contractual engagement will be temporary and co-terminus with the project, and there is no guarantee of further employment with SDAU upon its completion. Additionally, selected candidates will be expected to perform tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator/Research Scientist. Interested and eligible candidates are required to attend the interview with their bio-data, passport-size photograph, attested copies of educational qualifications and work experience, and proof of age at their own expense.
