Eligibility Criteria for SCI Maritime Training Institute Recruitment 2024

• Nautical Faculty: Holding COC of Master Mariner (Foreign Going Ship) issued by DG Shipping
• Nautical Faculty Passenger Ship: Holding COC of Master Mariner (Foreign Going Ship) issued by DG Shipping.
• Marine Engineering Faculty: Holding COC of Marine Engineer Officer Class I (Unlimited Horse Power)of a Foreign Going Ship by D.G. Shipping.
• Radio Officer/GMDSS Faculty: Holding COP Second Class/General Class of Radio Officer issued by Ministry of Communications, New Delhi. Holding valid GMDSS GOC Certificate (Indian) issued by Ministry of Communications & Information Technology
• Naval Architect : Graduate in Naval Arch from AICTE registered colleges.
• Academic Faculty: (Subject: Applied Physics, Applied Maths, English &Electronics) Mandatory Master’s Degree in resp branch.
• Instructors: Deck Petty Officer OR from Ex Indian Navy Seaman Branch OR Engine Petty Officer OR from Ex Indian Navy Engineering Branch.
• Workshop Instructors: Instructors for skills such as Engine Fitting, Carpentry, Physics and Yoga. Instructor to possess trade certificates from ITI or equivalent(experience) acceptable to DG Shipping.
• Electro Tech Officer/Electrical Officer: Empanelment will be done after installation of Electrical Lab
• Medical Officer: Should have at least MBBS Degree.
• Medical Instructor: Should be at least B.Sc. Nursing
• IT Instructor: Should be at least Computer Diploma Holder
• Course Booking Officer: Should be at least Diploma Holder with basic knowledge of Computers
• Lady Hostel Warden: Should be at least Graduate
• Hostel Warden: Should be at least Graduate

Selection Process:

The selection process for the SCI Maritime Training Institute Recruitment 2024 will only involve an interview. Emoluments for SCI Maritime Training Institute Recruitment 2024

• Remuneration for Full time contract faculty will be Rs.1, 35,000/- per month (TDS as per Income Tax Dept. guidelines).No other perks, allowances or conveyance will be paid extra other than Remuneration. Honorarium paid to visiting faculty will be Rs. 1200/- per hour and conveyance of Rs. 500/- per day to Master Mariners / Chief Engineers for all courses. Remuneration for Full time contract instructors will be Rs.45,000/- per month (TDS as per Income Tax Dept. guidelines).
• No other perks, allowances or conveyance will be paid extra other than Remuneration. For faculty other than Master Mariner / Chief Engineer, the honorarium will be paid at Rs. 900/- per hour and conveyance of Rs.500/-per day. Honorarium paid to visiting instructor will be Rs. 1250/- per 8 Hours shift and conveyance of Rs. 300/- per day. Conveyance will be paid per day basis i.e. to and fro. The honorarium rates are subject to change as per management discretion of MTI (SCI).
