Qualification for Sainik School Kodagu Recruitment 2024
PGT (Chemistry) (Contractual)
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry (OR) Post- graduate Diploma in Chemistry awarded by the University of Delhi (OR) M.Sc Degree in Bio- Chemistry from a recognised University after doing a minimum of 6 years study after matriculation.
- B.Ed. Degree or Recognised Diploma in Education (OR) Three years experience of teaching Intermediate or higher classes [OR]
- M.Sc. Ed. in Chemistry from the Regional College of Education, NCERT
TGT (English) (Contractual)
- Graduate / Post Graduate in the English subject from recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution.
- Graduate / Post Graduate in the English subject from recognized University with at least 45% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution
- 4-Year Degree of B.A.Ed. in the English subject from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution. AND Qualification Certificate of CTET/TET conducted by Central Govt./State Govt. to be submitted.
Art Master (Contractual)
- Graduate with Fine Art/ Art/Drawing/ Painting as one of the subjects with minimum 4 years Diploma from a recognized institute/ University OR Master’s degree in Fine Art with Painting/Sketching Specialization.
Band Master (Contractual)
- Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Panchmari OR Equivalent Naval / Air Force Courses.
Craft Instructor (Contractual)
- Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Two years trade certificate from recognised Industrial Training Centre (iii) Ability to teach through English Medium.

- PGT (Chemistry) (Contractual): Age should be between 21 to 40 years of age on 04 May 2024.
- TGT (English) (Contractual): Age should be between 21 to 35 years of age on 04 May 2024.
- Art Master (Contractual): Age should be between 21 to 35 years of age on 04 May 2024.
- Band Master (Contractual): Age should be between 21 to 35 years of age on 04 May 2024.
- Craft Instructor (Contractual): Age should be between 21 to 35 years of age on 04 May 2024.

Candidate must attach crossed demand draft (non-refundable) of Rs. 500/- for General /OBC Category & Rs. 350/- for SC/ST categories, drawn in favour of ‘The Principal Sainik School Kodagu’ payable at Kushalnagar Branch (Karnataka State).
Selection Procedure for Sainik School Kodagu Recruitment 2024
- Only short-listed candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria based on essential qualification(s) will be called for Written Exam, Skill test and Interview (as applicable). Skill test and Interview, where applicable will be conducted after written exam.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Written Exam/ Test/ Skill/ Practical test (as applicable).
- Skill test for various posts will include work/ test in their respective fields.
- Selection will be made based on performance in “written test, Demonstration / skill test, practical test and interview (as & where applicable)”.
