Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Apprentices under the Apprentices' Act, 1961 in the under mentioned designated trades for the year 2023-24 in this Factory. The requirement given below is tentative and this administration reserves the right to modify them

Qualification for RWF Recruitment 2024

• The candidates willing to undergo training under the Apprentices' Act, 1961, in this Factory, must have passed 10* class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks, from recognized Boards, as on the date of issue of Notification and also possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trade in which this administration is imparting training, issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
• The training in the designated trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Turner, Electrician and Electronic Mechanic will be for a period of one year.
• Whereas the period of training for COE Group (CNC Programming-cum-Operator), is for a period of six months.
• Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council.

Pay Scale for RWF Recruitment 2024

During their period of apprenticeship training in this Factory, the candidates undergoing training in the trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic will be paid a stipend of Rs.12,261/- per month, while for CNC Programming-cum-Operator, a stipend of Rs.10,899/- per month, will be paid as per extant rules amended from time to time.

Age Limit for RWF Recruitment 2024

• The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years as on 23.02.2024, which is the cutoff date for receiving applications.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 03 years in case of OBC candidates as per extant instructions of Railway Board and as amended from to time.

Application fees for RWF Recruitment 2024

• The candidates are required to enclose an Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft from any Nationalised Bank of Rs.100/- as processing fee, drawn in favour of 'Principal Financial Adviser/Rail Wheel Factory,' along with application form, which is not refundable.
• No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/ Physically handicapped/ Women candidates.

Selection Procedure for RWF Recruitment 2024

• The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of merit list prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in 10* Std/Matriculation or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• For the purpose of calculation of percentage of marks obtained in 10th Std/Matriculation or its equivalent marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects as indicated in the said marks sheet, will be reckoned and not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects.
• In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidates with older age shall be preferred. In case of dates of births are also being the same, then the candidate who passed the 10th Std/Matriculation or its equivalent examination earlier, shall be considered first.

• Candidates are required to read the instructions indicated in the Notification thoroughly before submitting their applications.
• Application Format as per and all other can be downloaded from the official website Rail Wheel Factory www.rwf.indianrailways.gov.in No other format of applications, other than the one enclosed to this Notification, shall be entertained.
• An Ex-servicemen candidate selected under the reservation provided for him/her will be placed in the appropriate category viz., UR/SC/ST/OBC to which he/she belongs.
• In case of children of Ex-servicemen, they must produce discharge certificate of his/her parents at the time of document verification.
• A recent colour pass port size photograph should be affixed on the application form duly signed/attested by the candidate.

Important Dates for RWF Recruitment 2024

• The last date for submission of application is 22.03.2024
• Probable date of display of list of selected candidates - 45 days from the closing date of receipt of applications.
• Tentative Date of commencement of Training - 15 days after issue of merit list.
