Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a prominent PSU under the Ministry of Railways, is seeking skilled professionals on a contract basis for various positions in the Pune Metro Rail Project - Reach I Extension. The vacancies include Deputy Project Manager (Launching), Planning Engineer, and Department/Service posts.
Candidates must possess relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Planning, along with substantial post-qualification experience, particularly in metro construction projects. Proficiency in project scheduling tools like Primavera P6, MSP, and SAP is preferred. Fluency in Hindi, English, and Marathi is essential, with proficiency in Marathi being a requirement. Applicants should be physically and medically fit, with an upper age limit of 45 years as of May 1, 2024.
Selection will be based on performance, eligibility, and experience, with a relaxation of criteria for exceptionally meritorious candidates. The selection process will include a walk-in interview, and selected candidates will undergo a medical examination. Qualifications Details for RVNL Recruitment 2024
Deputy Project Manager:
- Graduate in Civil Engineering/ Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 Years since Degree and 15 years since Diploma, out of which, minimum 02 Years as In-Charge of Similar works (Metro Rail)
Planning Engineer:
- Graduate in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years for Degree holders out of which minimum 5 years as planning Incharge of Metro Projects. Should be well versed in Project Scheduling, Preparation of Projects Plans and reports. Should have sufficient knowledge of Primavera P6, MSP & SAP. Preference would be given to candidates having experience in Metro works.
Liaison Officer:
- Graduate in any Discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a liaison of execution of Construction work/similar role is often preferred. This could include experience in government agencies, Private Construction Firm and having the ability to communicate effectively in Hindi, English & Marathi languages and should be able to read, write, speak, and understand the language fluently, Proficiency in Marathi is essential. Candidates familiar with complexities of major construction project. This person will be based on the Worksite on a permanent basis,
Age Limit for RVNL Recruitment 2024
Candidates must be physically and medically fit, and upon selection, they will undergo a medical examination in accordance with the corporation's policy. The upper age limit for all positions mentioned above is 45 years as of May 1, 2024.
Pay Scale for RVNL Recruitment 2024
Monthly remuneration is negotiable based on educational qualification and experience in the relevant field. The candidate should produce, last three pay slips for deciding the remuneration.
Selection Process for RVNL Recruitment 2024
- The selection will be through Walk in interview which will be held in Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd., Office No. 202/A, 2nd Floor, The Orion Condominium, Near Atur Park, Koregaon Park, Pune - 411001 at 11.00 AM on the dates as indicated above. Selected Candidates will have to undergo medical examination.
- Suitable candidates will be selected based on their performance, eligibility and experience in the relevant field.

- The candidate appearing for Walk in Interview shall be required to produce original documents relating to educational qualifications, experience, and caste certificates etc. for verification and also to submit self-attested photocopies thereof at the time of walk in interview.
- If the identity of the candidate is in doubt or he/she is not able to produce the requisite documents or there is mismatch of information in the documents or he/she is found in eligible for the post applied for or any other claim made in this application if found to be incorrect, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the walk in interview and his candidature will be treated as cancelled.
