Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) has released a vacancy notice for the position of Executive Director (Electrical) with one post available, to be located in Ahmedabad or New Delhi. The appointment will be on an immediate absorption basis with a scale of pay at IDA E-9 (Rs. 150000-300000/-).
Candidates must not exceed 57 years of age and should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in rolling stock production, maintenance, and operation, along with 5 years of experience in overhead electrification construction and maintenance work. Preference will be given to candidates with metro project execution experience.
The closing date for applications is 30 days from the date of issue, and candidates must apply through proper channels using the prescribed proforma available on the RVNL website, along with forwarding by the concerned controlling officer or zonal railways.

Qualification for RVNL Recruitment 2024
- Applicant must have 10 years of experience in rolling stockProduction, maintenance & operation and 5 years Experience in overhead electrification construction/ Maintenance work.
- Preference will be given to the candidates with execution Of metro project experience in addition to the above Experience.
Salary for RVNL Recruitment 2024
- For ED (ELEC): {Level-15(CDA) / E-9 (ida) Rs.150000-300000/-}:
- Officers holding substantively posts in analogous grade (cda / ida) or
- posts in level-14(CDA) & having 25 years' service in group 'A' or
- posts in IDA E-8 (rs. 120000-280000/-) for four years.
