Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) is inviting applications for the position of IT Officer with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000. Candidates must hold a B.Tech/M.Tech/BCA/MCA in Computer/Electronics Engineering with experience in System Administration, preferably in a Teaching Environment.

Additionally, certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/CCDE or equivalent, along with cloud certifications, are desirable. Operational knowledge of server/system management, virtualization technologies, contemporary programming languages, and cyber security infrastructure setup is required.

Female candidates may receive preference based on interview performance. Qualification for RRU Recruitment 2024

• B. Tech/ M. Tech / BCA / MCA in Computer/Electronics engineering with experience in System administration preferably in Teaching Environment.
• Certifications and Trainings: CCNA/ CCNP/ CCIE/ CCDE or equivalent. Cloud.
• Certification like Oracle, Google, Azure, AWS etc. will be an advantage.
• Demonstrable expertise in server/system management in an enterprise environment.
• Operational knowledge of server virtualization and virtual desktop technologies, router, configuration and programming.
• Operational knowledge of contemporary programming languages.
• Operational knowledge of setting up and managing campus cyber security infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong Knowledge of Windows & Linux/ UNIX server technologies.
• Experience with TCP/IP, SMTP, sFTP, and Active Directory, IIS, ASP, HTML, VBScript, Windows Scripting, and DNS services. Ability to write and debug scripts.
• Basic understanding in SQL and database is a plus
• Preference may be given to female candidates subject to performance in interview.

General Instructions for RRU Recruitment 2024

• Minimum qualifications and experience are prerequisites, and possession thereof does not guarantee an interview.
• The university reserves the right to limit the number of candidates based on superior qualifications.
• Contractual appointments will conclude on the stipulated date with no guarantee of renewal, extension, or permanent conversion.
• The university may opt not to make any appointment or make appointments with revised terms, remuneration, or job descriptions, considering its objectives and promoting excellence in security and police studies.
• Any form of canvassing or influence on behalf of candidates will result in disqualification, with appropriate action taken by the university.
• Candidates are expected to download and fill the Brief Profile Form from the university website, bringing it along with them for the interview, along with a one-page motivation letter.
• The filled form and necessary documents must be produced during document verification.
• Candidates should carefully review the qualifications and experience required for the relevant discipline before applying.
• The university may relax qualifications/experience requirements at its discretion and reserve panels for future vacancies.
• Experience and qualifications will be assessed as of the interview date.
• No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending interviews (if conducted offline).
• The university reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or cancel any communication or offer even after the issuance of appointment letters.
• The decision of the university regarding any dispute or ambiguity in the selection process will be final and binding.
• Candidates should not correspond regarding postal delays, interview conduct/results, or reasons for not being called for interviews.
• Candidates may be required to stay on the Rashtriya Raksha University campus if necessary.
• Appointments will be governed by the university's rules, regulations, and decisions.
• Candidates must bring three copies of their resume with photographs, original academic certificates, experience certificates, and other documents.
