RPF Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 4,208 Constable, Check Eligibility at rrbahmedabad.gov.in
Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force (RPF) has released a notification for the recruitment of 4,208 Constable (Executive) positions in Ahmedabad. Qualification for RPF Recruitment 2024
- Candidates must possess a minimum educational qualification of passing the 10th grade or equivalent from a recognized board.
- The educational qualifications specified in the CEN must be attained by the last date of submission of the online application, i.e., 14.05.2024.
- Individuals awaiting the results of their final examination for the prescribed educational qualification should refrain from applying.
Pay Scale for RPF Recruitment 2024
For the RPF Recruitment 2024, the pay scale for the Constable (Executive) position is detailed as follows:
- Pay Level in 7th CPC: Level-3
- Initial Pay: Rs. 21,700/-
Selected candidates for this position will receive the specified pay scale at Level-3 according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), with an initial pay of Rs. 21,700/-.
Place of Posting for RPF Recruitment 2024
Selected candidates will have to undergo a rigorous initial training in any one of the RPF/RPSF training centre or any other such institution as decided by the Railway Administration. Passing the Final Examination at the end of the training is a must for appointment to the Force.
Age Limit for RPF Recruitment 2024
- Age (as on 01-07-2024): 18 – 28 years. This includes a relaxation of 3 years in age beyond the prescribed age limit as a one-time measure due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
- Age Relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age for the following categories / communities in the table below are applicable subject to submission of requisite certificates.
- To provide relief to many candidates who may have exceeded the age limit and missed the opportunity to participate in railway recruitment due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided to grant a one-time age relaxation of 3 years beyond the prescribed upper age limit for the post of Constable.
Application Fee for RPF Recruitment 2024
- Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee as per their community/category detailed below:
- For all candidates Out of this fee of ₹ 500/-, an amount of ₹ 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT: Rs. 500/-
- For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC). This fee of ₹ 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT: Rs. 250/-
- There will be no refund of examination fee for erroneous, incomplete or rejected applications.
Selection Procedure for RPF Recruitment 2024
(a) Candidates should apply only through ONLINE mode through any of the official websites of the RPFs. Multiple applications by a candidate will lead to rejection of all the applications and debarment.
(b) The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages:
(i) Computer Based Test (CBT)
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
(iii) Document Verification (DV)
(c) Information on examination schedule and venues will be given to eligible candidates in due course through RPF websites, SMS and email.
(d) Request for postponement of any of the stages or for change of venue, date and shift will not be entertained under any circumstances.
RPF Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply Online at rrbahmedabad.gov.in
(a) Candidates must read all information and instruction carefully before filling the ONLINE application to prevent mistakes.
(b) Candidates must first ‘Create an account’ for this CEN through the link given in the official RPF websites They must have an active personal mobile number and a valid email ID for receiving OTPs for account creation. No change in details filled in ‘Create an Account’ form (including mobile number and email ID) will be permitted later.
(c) Each candidate is allowed to submit only one application. Applications should be submitted only through the official RPF websites listed in below. The applicable Examination Fee is required to be paid. Multiple applications by a candidate will result in the rejection of all applications and debarment.
(d) ONLINE Mandatory Scanned Documents to be kept ready before filling the application:
(i) Recent, clear colour passport size photograph (against a plain white background) of the candidate in JPEG image (size 30 to 70KB) – without wearing dark glasses and/or cap. Note: Candidates must have at least 12 (twelve) copies of the same photograph for future use during the recruitment process.
(ii) Scanned JPEG image of candidate’s signature in running handwriting (size 30 to 70KB)
(iii) SC /ST Certificate (only for candidates requesting free pass for train travel) in pdf format (upto 500KB).
(e) Candidates can use the services of the Common Services Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India under the Digital India initiatives for submitting ONLINE applications.
