Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has released a recruitment notification for various positions including Econometric Modeller, Transport Economist, and more, totaling 7 vacancies. The positions are based in Gurgaon.

Qualification for RITES Recruitment 2024
Foreign Trade forecast Expert cum Freight Transport Modeller:
An advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent preferred) transportation engineering/ transport planning/ transport logistics
Transport Economist:
Should master's possess degree preferably Transport Economics/ Economics/ allied streams from reputed educational institutions.
Econometric Modeller:
The expert will be a professional with a Master's/ PhD degree in Statistics or Economics, or MBA in Supply Chain/ Marketing field, with experience in Data Analytics.
Data Analysis & Visualisation Expert:
The expert(s) will be a professional with a Master's/ PhD degree in Statistics or MTech in Engineering/ Computer science or equivalent, with experience in Data Analytics.
Port Infrastructure & Operations Expert:
A university degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred) in civil engineering and or transport logistics or MBA.
Railways Logistics Expert:
The Railways Logistics expert will be a railway infrastructure professional with desired academic qualifications in engineering and relevant professional experience in rail transportation sector, with specific focus on Railways and ports hinterland connectivity domain.
International Trade, Finance & Customs Regulations Expert:
An advanced ‹ university degree (master's degree or equivalent preferred) in international trade/ finance / MBA
Pay Scale for RITES Recruitment 2024
The remuneration shall be fixed at 50% of their last basic pay drawn at the time of superannuation. The re-engaged employees shall not be entitled to increment, dearness allowance and HRA, hence they shall be paid transport allowance as applicable.
Age Limit for RITES Recruitment 2024
The appointment shall be purely on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, extendable until completion of the assignment subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance. Maximum 63 years as on 01.04.2024

- 2 recent passport size colour photographs.
- High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth.
- Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications
- Detailed CV.
- Pension Payment Order.
- Service Certificate, Last Pay-slip, indicating last grade and basic pay drawn issued by the last employer.
- PF No with the last employer.
- Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card etc)
- PAN Card
- Proof of different periods of experience as clalmed in the Application Form (if applicable)
- Any other document in support of candidature
- Those who have been imposed any major/minor penalties during the last 5 years of service are not eligible to apply.
