Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has released a notification for the recruitment of Experts or Consultants, offering two vacancies with an age limit of maximum 62 years.
The positions include Expert or Consultant roles in S&T and Electrical engineering fields, requiring candidates to hold B.E./B. Tech/ BSc./Diploma degrees along with extensive experience in rail-related projects. Retired Government/PSU employees meeting the eligibility criteria can apply, and the remuneration will be fixed at 50% of their last basic pay drawn at the time of superannuation.

Qualification for RITES Recruitment 2024
Expert or Consultant S&T :
- B.E./B. Tech/ BSc. /Diploma (Engineering) Degree in Electronics & Communication Engg., or Electrical Engg. or Electronics 8 Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
- Candidates should have minimum post- qualification experience of 20 years (Govt./PSU) in Rail related/major infrastructure projects, preparation of FSR/DPR, Project Management
- Consultancy Services (PMC),|
- Maintenance/Execution for various Railway siding works, Liaising with Railway for approval of SIP/ drawings /DPR etc.
- Proficiency in Railway Signalling & Telecommunication Works. Experience in estimation, tendering and bid evaluation,
- Execution, Testing & Commissioning
- Signalling & Telecommunication Work etc.
- Candidates superannuated/VRS from Government / PSU employees who fulfil the above requirement can also apply
Expert or Consultant Electrical :
- B.E/ B. Tech/ Diploma (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engg., or Electronics & Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
- Candidates should have minimum post- qualification experience of 20 years (Govt./PSU) in Rail related/major infrastructure projects, preparation of FSR/DPR, Project Management Consultancy Services (PMC),
- Maintenance/Execution for various Railway siding works, Liaising with Railway for approval of LOP, sectioning diagram, EIG / drawings /DPR etc.
- Proficiency in Railway OHE Works.
- Experience in estimation, tendering and bid evaluation, Execution,
- Testing & Commissioning of overhead electrification works etc.
- Candidates superannuated/VRS from Government / PSU employees who full fill the above requirement can also apply
Salary for RITES Recruitment 2024
- The remuneration shall be fixed at 50% of their last basic pay drawn at the time of superannuation.
- The re-engaged employees shall not be entitled to increment, dearness allowance and HRA, hence they shall be paid transport allowance as applicable.

- RITES Ltd. is seeking retired Government/PSUs employees to fill professional roles (Expert/Consultant) for the Project Unit in Bhubaneswar.
- The age limit for applicants is a maximum of 62 years as of April 1, 2024.

- Applicants are requested to register themselves on RITES web site in the registration format available under Tab "Career" - Expert Registration - registration for Consultant/Expert on RITES website http://www.rites.com and submit a print out of the same and self attested copies of the following documents along with the prescribed in hard copy to the undersigned within 21 days from the date of publication.
- 2 recent passport-size colour photographs, High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth, Certificates of Academic & Professional Qualifications, Detailed CV, Pension Payment Order, Service Certificate, Last Pay slip, indicating last grade and basic pay drawn by the last employer.
- PF No with the last employer, Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card etc) PAN Card, Proof of different periods of experience as claimed in the Application Form (if applicable)
- Any other document in support of candidature
- Those who have been imposed any major/minor penalties during the last 5 years of service are not eligible to apply.
