Qualification for RITES Recruitment 2024
- Full time Master’s Degree in Geology/ Applied Geology/Ph.D. in Geology/Applied Geology
- Minimum post - qualification experience: 2 years
Pay Scale for RITES Recruitment 2024
Geologist (Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000). The selected candidates would be paid Basic pay and DA, fixed/variable allowances @ 23% of Basic Pay, HRA/Lease, Contribution to PF, and Gratuity as per Payment of Gratuity Act.

Age Limit for RITES Recruitment 2024
Maximum Age: 40 Years. Note: Age, experience, and all other eligibility criteria shall be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the application (cut-off date).
Application fees for RITES Recruitment 2024
- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 600/- plus applicable taxes
- EWS/ SC/ST/ PWD Candidates: Rs. 300/- plus applicable taxes
Selection Procedure for RITES Recruitment 2024
- Based upon the performance in the Written Test and fulfilling the conditions of eligibility; candidates shall be shortlisted for Interview
- The weightage distribution of various parameters of the selection shall be as under: Written Test - 60% Interview - 40% (Technical & Professional proficiency - 30 %; Personality Communication & Competency – 10%) Total - 100%
- There will be 125 objective type questions carrying one mark each for a duration of 2.5 Hours.
- There will be no negative marking system applicable and therefore, no marks will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer.
- Candidates belonging to PwD Category are eligible for an additional compensatory time of 50 minutes
