No. 327/HIV-SENTINEL/RIMS-2022: A "Walk-in-interview" for recruitment of the following post for the Project "RI-RIMS HIV Sentinel Surveillance and Epidemiology", RIMS, Imphal, funded by the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, on contractual basis, will be held on Wednesday, the 3rd July, 2024, at 2.30 p.m. in the Office Chamber of Director, RIMS, Imphal. Qualification for RIMS Recruitment 2024
Senior Consultant
Qualification: a) Bachelor degree in the Medical Sciences (MBBS/ BAMS) or similar degree with Post-Graduation (Degree/ Diploma /Program) in Public Health or Community Medicine/ MD Ayurveda / Health Care Management/ Health Administration/ Clinical Research.
b) Essential Experience 1) Minimum 1 year experience in Disease Surveillance/ Public Health Management/ Public Health Epidemiology/ Public Health Research.
ii) Experience in the field of HIV/AIDS is preferable
Desirable qualifications: a) Working knowledge of Biostatistics/ Statistical packages (Epi info/SPSS etc ), Microsoft Office. b) Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Research Officer
a) Master in Health Management /MPH/Postgraduate Diploma in General Science/Computer/IT
b) Essential Experience Minimum 7 years experience in the field of HIV surveillance.
Desirable qualifications: Working knowledge of Biostatistics/ Statistical packages (Epi info/SPSS etc.), Microsoft office.
Pay Scale for RIMS Recruitment 2024
- Senior Consultant: Rs.1,00,000 (consolidated pay)
- Research Officer: Rs.64,000/- (consolidated pay)
Age Limit for RIMS Recruitment 2024
- Senior Consultant: Upper Age Limit: 45 years (Relaxable for Reserved Categories as per Govt. Norms).
- Research Officer: Upper Age Limit: 50 years (Relaxable for Reserved Categories as per Govt. Norms).

- Interested candidates fulfilling the above-required qualifications and experience may apply for the interview along with a copy of neatly typed bio-data with a self-attested passport-size colour photograph and self-attested copies of testimonials and certificates.
- The original certificates and the documents are to be produced before the Selection Board in the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
- Application in plain paper should be submitted at the office of the Director, RIMS, Imphal, on or before Monday, the 1st July, 2024, and applications received after 4.00 p.m. of 1st July, 2024, will not be entertained.
- The engagement is strictly on a temporary basis, co-terminus with the project, and especially required for the above Research project, for the period mentioned against the post or till the project is completed, whichever is earlier.
