The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is seeking applications for 03 Bank's Medical Consultant positions. Applicants must have an MBBS degree, at least two years of experience, and their dispensary or residence within 3-5 km of the Bank’s dispensaries.
The contract will be for three years with an hourly rate of ₹1000, inclusive of conveyance and mobile charges. Selection will be based on an interview, with further medical and document verification required. Applications must be submitted by 05:00 PM on September 11, 2024. Qualifications Details for RBI Recruitment 2024

The applicant should at a minimum, possess MBBS degree from any recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India.

The applicant should have minimum two years of experience in any hospital or clinic as a medical practitioner.

The candidates are required to submit Caste Certificate, if applicable, issued in the prescribed format by the Competent Authority. The applicant should submit the same along with the application.

The applicant should have his/her dispensary or place of residence within a radius of approximately 3-5 kms from the Bank’s dispensaries at the locations mentioned at Sl No.7.

The remuneration of Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed with reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive.

Empanelment / Contract of engagement will be for a period of three years. There will not be any renewal of contract on completion of the contract. A fresh empanelment exercise will be undertaken after three years wherein existing doctors will be eligible to apply subject to the terms and conditions of the same.
Pay Scale for RBI Recruitment 2024

₹1000/- per hour for the entire period of contract i.e. three years

Out of the total monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of ₹1000/- per month shall be treated as conveyance expenses.

Reimbursement of mobile charges of ₹1000/- per month.
Selection Process for RBI Recruitment 2024

The Bank will conduct an interview for the shortlisted candidates. Selection will be made through interview of eligible candidates.

The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc., in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview.

The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. Mere fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.

Apart from those who may be called for interview, the Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who are not being called for the interview.

Applicants shortlisted after the interview will be subjected to medical examination test and other document verification process before engagement as Bank’s Medical Consultant.

The cost of medical examination tests will have to be borne by the applicant.
