The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is recruiting Part Time Medical Consultant s on a three-year contract basis. Candidates must have an MBBS degree and at least two years of post-qualification experience, with preference given to those with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine. Applicants should have a clinic or residence within 10-15 km of an RBI dispensary. The remuneration is Rs. 1000 per hour, with an additional Rs. 1000 per month for conveyance.

Qualifications Details for RBI Recruitment 2024
- Applicant should at minimum possess MBBS degree of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the Allopathic system of medicine.
- The Applicant should have a minimum of 02 (Two) years’ post qualification experience practicing Allopathic system of medicine in any hospital or clinic as a Medical Practitioner.
- Applicants having post graduate degree in General Medicine can also apply for this post.-2-
- The applicant should have her/his clinic/dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 10-15 kms from any of the Bank’s dispensaries as listed below.
- The remuneration of Bank’s Part Time Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed with the reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive.
Pay Scale for RBI Recruitment 2024
- Rs.1000/- (per hour) for the entire period of contract i.e 03 years Out of total monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of Rs.1000/- per month will be treated as conveyance expense. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is offering a contract position for the role of Part Time Medical Consultant .
- This contract will span a duration of three years, with a remuneration of Rs. 1000 per hour for the entire period. Additionally, a sum of Rs. 1000 per month will be allocated specifically for conveyance expenses from the total monthly remuneration. There are a total of 5 posts available for this role.
Selection Process for RBI Recruitment 2024

The Bank will be conducting an interview for the shortlisted candidates. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. Mere fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidate to be called for interview.

Apart from those who may be called for interview, the Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who are not found eligible / not considered eligible for interview.

Applicants shortlisted after undergoing the document verification process and interview shall be subjected to medical examination as per prescribed norms, before being considered to be eligible to be engaged as Part Time Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis. The cost of these medical examination process/ tests will have to be borne by the applicant/s themselves. The selection of applicants shortlisted after interview as Bank’s Part Time Medical Consultant will be subject to verification of documents, etc.

Candidates selected for the panel will be appointed for the post as and when they fall vacant, subject to their being found medically fit and her/his acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Contract as per PDF-I and Code of Conduct as per PDF-II.

The selected candidate has to sign an agreement for contract with the Bank before engagement as Bank’s Part Time Medical Consultant (on contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration.

The doctors selected as BMC would be required to submit a “Self-Declaration” stating that none of her/ his current employer (s) have any objection to her/ his engagement with the Bank.

The doctors selected as BMC would be also required to submit a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)”, in case she/ he is engaged in any hospital/ organization for more than 30 hours a week.
