The Raman Research Institute (RRI) is inviting applications for two Research Assistant positions, offering a salary of Rs. 31,000 per month. Eligible candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Physics, Engineering Physics, Quantum Technology, Photonics, or related fields, or a B.E./B.Tech in similar disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks. Preference will be given to those with an M.Tech/M.Phil or equivalent degree with thesis work. The age limit is 35 years, with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government rules. Qualifications Details for Raman Research Institute Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc. (Physics / Engineering Physics/ Quantum Technology / Photonics/ Related fields) or B.E. / B.Tech (Engineering Physics / Electronics / Related fields) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
- M. Tech / M. Phil or equivalent degree with a thesis work will be given preference.
Age Limit for Raman Research Institute Recruitment 2024
- The upper limit is 35 years as on the last date for closing of applications. The last date for receipt of applications is 28 June 2024. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
Pay Scale for Raman Research Institute Recruitment 2024
- A consolidated remuneration of Rs. 31,000/- plus admissible HRA per month will be paid to the selected candidates.

- Age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt., of India rules for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.
- The institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for test/ interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of relevant qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
