RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (RAILTEL) is recruiting for three positions of Joint General Manager/Senior Deputy General Manager, with vacancies in Delhi, Mumbai, and Secunderabad. The age limit for applicants ranges from 56 to 62 years, depending on the mode of appointment—Deputation, Absorption, or Re-employment.

Qualification for RAILTEL Recruitment 2024
For JGM (E-6 Level IDA Scale of ₹90,000-2,40,000/-):
a) On Deputation/Absorption: Officers at the JAG level with 10 years of gazetted service, or executives currently working in the IDA scale of ₹90,000-2,40,000/-.
b) On Re-employment: Retired or resigned officers from the JAG level with 10 years of gazetted service, or executives who were working in the IDA scale of ₹90,000-2,40,000/-.
For Sr. DGM (E-5 Level IDA Scale of ₹80,000-2,20,000/-):
a) On Deputation/Absorption: Officers at the JAG level (Level-12 CDA) or Sr. Scale (Level-11 CDA) with 8 years of gazetted service, or executives currently working in the IDA scale of ₹80,000-2,20,000/-.
b) On Re-employment: Retired or resigned officers from the Sr. Scale (Level-11 CDA) with 8 years of gazetted service, or executives who were working in the IDA scale of ₹80,000-2,20,000/-.
Pay Scale for RAILTEL Recruitment 2024
(i) On Deputation: Parent grade pay plus deputation allowance as per rules.
(ii) On Absorption: DPE scales and allowances corresponding to the level of selection.
(iii) On Re-employment: DPE scales and allowances for the level of selection, as per RailTel's terms and conditions of re-employment.

The positions are available at the following locations: CO/Delhi, SR/Secunderabad, and WR/Mumbai.
Age Limit for RAILTEL Recruitment 2024
i) On Deputation: Candidates should not be older than 56 years on the closing date for receipt of applications.
ii) On Absorption: Officers should be under 57 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications.
iii) On Re-employment: Officers should be under 62 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications. This applies to those retired or resigned from Central/State Government or Central/State PSUs.
