RailTel has a strategic relationship with the Indian Railways and it undertakes a wide variety of projects including provision of mission critical connectivity services like IP based video surveillance system at station, e-Office' services and implementing short haul connectivity between stations and long haul connectivity to support various organization within the Indian Railways.
RailTel also provide various passenger services including content on demand services and Wi-Fi across major railway stations in India. RailTel Corporation is a Listed Company and requires dynamic, an experienced retired executive with prior experience in Railway or Telecom PSU in the Eastern Region's North Eastern States in order to oversee ongoing work and projects and support the state's business expansion.

Qualification and Age Limit for RailTel Recruitment 2024
- Retired executive with prior experience in Railway or Telecom PSU in the Eastern Region's North Eastern States at Level-E-5/E-6 in IDA scale
- Experience- Candidates should have working experience in the following field of work: The Candidate should have more than 30 years of experience in Railway or Telecom PSU in the Eastern Region's North Eastern States.
- Duration of the Service Contract- Duration of Service Contract will be initially for a period of 1 year, further extendable till requirement of services or attaining age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
- Age criteria- Age should not be more than 62 years as on 01.06.2024.
Pay Scale for RailTel Recruitment 2024
Compensation: Consolidated lump sum payment per month will be equal to Last Pay + DA drawn minus Pension (before commutation).
Selection Procedure for RailTel Recruitment 2024
- Procedure of selection- Interview. Vigilance Clearance will be obtained from the organization from which they retired.
- Medical Examination: The selected candidates will have to undergo Medical examination/health check-up and will be considered for engagement as Consultant/Advisor only if they are found medically fit.

- Application neatly type on A-4 Size paper in the format given below should be addressed and sent to Pr. Executive Director/HR, RailTel corporation of India Ltd., Plate-A, 6th Floor, Office Block, Tower-2, East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi-110023 with the self-attested photocopies of the following documents.
- Matriculation certificate/Birth Certificate.
- Certificate of Educational Qualification (Degree /Diploma etc.);
- Pay Pension order (P.P.O);
- Service Certificate issued by previous employer at the time of Retirement;
- One page write-up of work handled including significant achievements, if any.
- Address of Vigilance Department of previous employer for collecting Vigilance/DAR- Clearance;
- Application not accompanied by P.P.O, Service Certificate & Address of Vigilance
- Department of previous employer, incomplete or vague applications will be rejected summarily.
