RailTel has announced its 2024 recruitment for the positions of Joint General Manager (JGM) and Senior Deputy General Manager (Sr. DGM), with three vacancies available. The notification was issued on August 20, 2024, and the last date to apply is September 19, 2024. The JGM position, graded at E-6 level with an IDA scale of Rs. 90,000-2,40,000/-, requires candidates to have 10 years of Gazetted service or equivalent experience. The Sr. DGM position, graded at E-5 level with an IDA scale of Rs. 80,000-2,20,000/-, requires eight years of Gazetted service or equivalent experience. The age limit for applicants varies depending on the application type. For deputation, candidates should not exceed 56 years, while for absorption, they should be below 57 years. For re-employment, the age limit is 62 years. - For Jgm (E-6 Level Ida Scale Of Rs.90,000-2,40,000/-): A) Jag Level With 10 Years Gaz Service; Or Executive Working Deputation/absorption): Or R5.90,000 2,10,000/- For B) Retired/resigned From Jag Level With 10 Years Gaz Service; Or Executive Working In Ida Scale Of Rs.90,000-2,40,000 (For Re-employment).
- For Sr.dgm (E-5 Level In Ida Scale Of Rs. 80,000-2,20,000/-: A) Jag (Level-12-cda) Or Sr. Scale(Level-11cda) With 08 Years Gaz Service; Or Executive Working In Ida Scale Of Rs.80,000- 2,20,000/-(Fordeputation/absorption);or B) Retired/resigned From Sr. Scale(Level-11cda) With 08 Years Gaz Service; Or Executive Working In Ida Scale Of Rs.80,000- 2,20,000/-
- Three Years Or Till Rcil Is Exempted From The Rule Of Immediate Absorption, Whichever Is Earlier.
- In Case Of Absorption-till The Age Of Superannuation.
- In Re-employment- Till Work Requirement On The Discreation Of The Management.
