The Press Council of India has announced vacancies for the position of Stenographer Grade, with one post available in New Delhi. Applicants must hold the post of Stenographer Grade C or an analogous position in Level 6 pay scale, or have six years of service in Level 5, or ten years of service in Level 4 in the Stenographic Cadre. Additionally, candidates must be graduates with knowledge of computer operations/software applications.
The salary offered for this position ranges from Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 per month, at Level-6 (PB-2), with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-. The maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years. - Persons holding the post of Stenographer Grade C or analogous post in the scale of pay of Level 6 or Having six years service in level 5 in Stenographic Cadre. or Having 10 years service in level 4 in Stenographic Cadre.

Pay Scale for Press Council of India Recruitment 2024
- The Press Council of India is offering a position for Stenographer Grade with one vacancy. The salary for this role is in the range of Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 per month, at Level-6 (PB-2), with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- (pre-revised).
- The pay and allowances of the officer selected will be regulated in accordance with the Press Council of India (Terms & Conditions of Service of Employees) Regulations, 2002 read with relevant provision's of Central Civil Services Rule of Government of India.
Age Limit for Press Council of India Recruitment 2024
Employees of the Council are not eligible for general pool accommodation allotment. Instead, they are entitled to receive House Rent Allowance (HRA) at rates prescribed for Central Government employees stationed in Delhi/New Delhi. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be up to 56 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
