Applications are invited for the position of One Junior Research Fellow in a Government of West Bengal– Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology sponsored research project under the guidance of Dr. Anirban Chatterjee , Department of Geology, Presidency University, Kolkata.
Project Title: A critical evaluation of human adaptation with the changing river course: inference to the geological evolution of Damodar River, through a multiproxy approach

Qualification for Presidency University Recruitment 2024
Essential qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geography from a recognized university. Desirable qualification: Applicants having a valid rank in CSIR/UGC-NET JRF/LS Examination and/or at least 1-year research experience in the geochemistry/ remote sensing/ geophysics related research work will be given preference.
Pay Scale for Presidency University Recruitment 2024
Fellowship (to be governed as per WBDSTBT norms): Rs 25,000 (Consolidated) per month (1 st & 2 nd year) and Rs 30,000 (Consolidated) per month (3rd year).
