Post Office Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 19 Staff Car Driver, Check Eligibility at indiapost.gov.in
The Post Office has issued a recruitment notification for 19 vacancies of Staff Car Driver in Bihar. The age limit for applicants is 56 years, and the last date to apply offline is 27th May 2024. Candidates must be 10th pass and possess a valid driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles. Experience of driving for at least three years is required. Those from other Ministries of the Central Government and Armed Forces personnel are also eligible.
The pay scale for the position is regulated as per Pay Matrix Level-02 as per the 7th CPC, and selected candidates will be regularized as per pay rules. Qualification for Post Office Recruitment 2024
- Deputation/Absorption of officials in the Department of Posts: From amongst the regular Dispatch Rider (Group- C) and Group-C employees in the Pay Matrix Level- 01 as per 7th CPC in the Department of Posts, who possess valid Driving License for light and heavy motor vehicle on the basis of a Driving test to assess the competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicle.
- Other Ministries of the Central Government and Armed Forces personnel: From officials holding the post of Dispatch Rider on regular basis or regular Group- C employees in the Pay Matrix Level -01 as per 7th CPC who fulfill the necessary qualification prescribed as under:
- Possession of a valid Driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles. Knowledge of motor mechanism (candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles)
- Experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicle for at least three years.
- Passed 10th standard from a recognized Board or Institute
- For Armed Forces Personnels: The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualification prescribed shall also be considered.
- Such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.
Pay Scale for Post Office Recruitment 2024
For the Post Office Recruitment 2024, the regulation of pay and other terms of Deputation/Absorption for the Staff Car Driver position will be as follows: Pay Matrix Level: Level-02 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). Selected candidates will initially be placed at Pay Matrix Level-02 and will be regularized as per the pay rules applicable.

- Vigilance clearance certificate.
- Attested photocopies of the ACRs for the last five year (2018-19 to 2022-23) (attested on each page by a Gazetted Officer) (wherever applicable)
- The required documents mentioned at the end along with relevant Documents in support of qualifications and experience must reach in the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Bihar Circle, Patna-800001 through Speed Post and Registered Post on or before 45 days from the date of issue of notification.
- Application not received through Speed Post and Registered Post or without the requisite certificate/documents or received after 45 days from the date of issue of notification will not be entertained
