The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, is conducting a walk-in interview on May 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM to fill a vacant position of Non-Academic Senior Resident (Adhoc) in Clinical Hematology & Medical Oncology.
This appointment is purely ad hoc until June 30, 2024. Eligible candidates must possess a medical qualification listed in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, and be registered with the Central/State Medical Council. They should hold an MD/DNB in Medicine or Pediatrics (for Medical Oncology) or its equivalent from a university recognized by the National Medical Council of India.
The age limit is 45 years, with relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, and persons with disabilities as per government rules. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and a recent colored photograph for the interview. No separate interview letters will be issued, and no TA/DA will be provided.

Qualifications Details for PGIMER Recruitment 2024
- A Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (a person possessing qualifications included in the Part-Il of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
- Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council. c) MD/DNB medicine or MD/DNB Pediatrics (eligible for Medical Oncology only) or it's equivalent degree from university recognized by National Medical Council of India.
Age Limit for PGIMER Recruitment 2024
The age limit for the Non-Academic Senior Resident position is 45 years, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Persons with disabilities are eligible for a relaxation of 10 years, with an additional 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

- Applications are invited for a walk-in interview for filling-up 01 (One) vacant post of Non-Academic Senior Resident (Adhoc) Clinical Hematology & Medical Oncology purely on adhoc basis till 30.06.2024, in the Department of Clinical Hematology & Medical Oncology.
- The Interview will be conducted on 01.05.2024 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM in the office of Head, Clinical Hematology & Medical Oncology, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Room no. 18, Block - F, 4th Floor, Nehru Hospital). The candidates who fulfil the following eligibility criteria are requested to attend the same along with their original certificate and latest coloured photograph. No separate interview letter will be sent and No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
