Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is offering recruitment for the position of Junior Field/Lab Helper in Abohar for 2024. There is one vacancy available with a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 11,537/-. Candidates must possess a minimum qualification of 8th grade along with proficiency in Punjabi.
Preference will be given to candidates with 10 years of experience as Daily Paid Labourers (DPLs) at PAU. The age limit for applicants ranges from 18 to 63 years. Interested candidates should submit their applications on the prescribed proforma along with a bank draft of Rs. 100/- before July 12, 2024.
The selection will be conducted by a selection committee, and candidates must appear for the interview on July 16, 2024, with original testimonials. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview. Qualification for PAU Recruitment 2024
- Middle with Punjabi
- Age: 18 years to 63 years
- Note: a) Preference will be given to candidates who have been working as DPLs in the respective field in PAU for 10 years.
- b) 25% and 12% posts are reserved for candidates belonging to schedule caste/tribes and backward classes belonging to Punjab State respectively: 13% posts are reserved for Ex-serviceman and 3% posts are for physical handicapped persons.
Pay Scale for PAU Recruitment 2024
One post of Junior Field/Lab Helper at the fixed salary of Rs. 11,537/-(10737+800) per month (fixed) is to be filled up on contractual basis in the scheme "Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc 08 (PC-4715)".

- The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications/experience should send their applications on the prescribed proforma obtainable from the office of this department against the payment of Rs.100/- in shape of bank draft in favour of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana (payable at State bank of India Abohar, IFSC SBIN0000600) to this office on or before 12.07.2024 (Friday).
- They should appear before the selection committee along with original copies of the testimonials on 16.07.2024 at 11.00 A.M. in the office of the undersigned.
- No TA/DA will be given for that day.
- Applications received after the due date/receive without the application fee shall not be considered.
- This department shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transits.
- The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
