The Biotechnology Department at Panjab University, led by Principal Investigator Prof. Desh Deepak Singh, is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to contribute to a project titled "Isolation, structural characterization, and evaluation of anti-cancer potential of selected plant lectins.
" The position offers a salary of INR 37,000/- plus HRA and extends initially for one year, with the possibility of extension up to three years. Applicants must hold an M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, M Pharm, or related disciplines, along with qualification in CSIR/UGC JRF/LS or any other National Eligibility test.
The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years, with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and differently-abled candidates as per government norms.
