Qualification for OPSC Recruitment 2024
A candidate should possess the following qualifications, at the minimum: For Engineering/Technology as per AICTE Notification F.No.61- 1/RIFD/ 7th CPC/2016-17 dated 01.03.2019.
(a) Ph.D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch. AND
(b) Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor (level-13A1, Entry pay- 131400). AND
(c) At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals /UGC/AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/ Co-supervisor.
OR At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals /UGC / AICTE approved list of journals. AND
(d) At least a total research score of 120 (one hundred twenty) on the last date of the application (as per the criteria given in Appendix-II, Table-2 of UGC Regulations vide notification no.F.1-2/2017 (EC/PS) dated 18.07.2018).
Pay Scale for OPSC Recruitment 2024
Recruitment to 05 (Five) posts of Professors in 04 different disciplines in Group-A of Government College of Engineering, Kalahandi, under Skill Development & Technical Education Department in the Entry Pay:- Rs.1,44,200/-, Level -14 in the pay matrix with usual Dearness and other allowances as admissible by the Government from time to time.
Age Limit for OPSC Recruitment 2024
Minimum age limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 30.10.2024 Maximum age limit: 60 years (Date of Superannuation as per date of birth). (30.10.2024 is the reference date for calculation of age) Date of birth entered in the High School Certificate or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council will only be accepted by the Commission.
Examination Fee for OPSC Recruitment 2024
The candidates are exempted for payment of examination fees as per G.A. Deptt. Letter No.9897/Gen., dated 11.04.2022.
Selection Procedure for OPSC Recruitment 2024
Commission will short list the eligible candidates for the interview in the ratio of 1:4 based on their research score of UGC Regulations vide notification no.F. 1- 2/2017 (EC/PS) dated 18/07/2018) which is appended to this advertisement.
