Qualification for OPSC Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch AND At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals /UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.
- AND Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research/industry (level 10, entry pay 57770) out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
- AND At least a total research score of 75 (seventy-five) on the last date of the application (as per the criteria given of UGC Regulations vide notification No. F.1- 2/2017(EC/PS) dated 18.07.2018).
- A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines.
- A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
Pay Scale for OPSC Recruitment 2024
For recruitment to 38 (Thirty Eight) posts of Associate Professors in 12 different disciplines in Group-A of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang, Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Berhampur & Govt. College of Engineering, Keonjhar under Skill Development & Technical Education Department in the Entry Pay:- Rs. 1,31,400/-, Level -13A1 in the pay matrix with usual Dearness and other allowances as admissible by the Government from time to time.
Age Limit for OPSC Recruitment 2024
Minimum age limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 20.04.2024 Maximum age limit: No limit (Superannuation age becomes the maximum age limit by default). (20.04.2024 is the reference date for calculation of age) Date of birth entered in the High School Certificate or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council will only be accepted by the Commission.
Selection Procedure for OPSC Recruitment 2024
- Commission will short list the eligible candidates for the interview in the ratio of 1:4 based on their research score (as per the criteria given in Regulations vide notification no.F.1- 2/2017(EC/PS) dated 18/07/2018) which is appended to this advertisement.
- The detailed distribution of marks for selection is given below: Total:100 Marks. The threshold for qualifying would be 50 marks out of 100.
