Oil India Limited (OIL) is conducting walk-in interviews on July 19, 2024, for the positions of Contractual Chemist and Contractual Drilling Engineer in Tamil Nadu. There are three vacancies available, with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 80,000. Candidates for the Chemist position should have a Post Graduate degree in Chemistry or a BE/B.Tech degree in Chemical/Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering, with at least two years of experience in water-based drilling fluid maintenance.
For the Drilling Engineer role, a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering is required, along with over three years of experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry and a valid Well Control Certificate (IWCF Level-4/IADC L4).
The selection process will be based on a walk-in interview with a total of 100 marks, where candidates must score a minimum of 50 marks to qualify. The interviews will be held at IDCO Towers, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, with registration from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Qualifications Details for OIL Recruitment 2024
- Post Graduate in Chemistry of 02 (two) years duration from a Govt. recognized University / Institute. OR BE / B.Tech Degree of 04 (four) years duration in Chemical/ Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering from a Govt. recognised University/ Institute.
- Post Qualification Work Experience of minimum 02 (two) years in Preparation, Maintenance and Supply of Water Base Drilling Fluid (Mud) in Drilling well.
- Bachelors Degree in Petroleum /Mechanical Engineering of 04 (four) years duration from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute.
- Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 03 (three) years in upstream Oil & Gas industry
- Must possess a valid Well Control Certificate (IWCF Level-4/IADCL4.)

- Final selection from among the candidates who have appeared and secured the minimum qualifying marks of 50 in the Walk-in-Interview will be only on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the Walk-in-Interview
