Online applications are invited from eligible Indian SPORTS PERSONS for filling up of 54 Posts (05 in Pay Level 4/5, 16 in Pay Level 2/3 & 33 in Pay Level-1) in the following disciplines against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2024-25 over North Western Railway. Only Candidates Having The Required Sports Qualification Are Eligible To Apply. There is no reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PH, and Ex-SM

Qualification for NWR RRC Recruitment 2024
- A Degree/Graduation or its equivalent from a recognized university, OR Pass in B.Sc. from a recognized university for the post of Signal Maintainer Grade-I
- 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University and for the skill test prescribed dictation speed of 80 W.P.M. duration time 10 minutes and transcription time is 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi) for the post of Jr. Stenographer.
- 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University OR A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate may also eligible to be posted as Tech-III OR A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board may also eligible to be posted as Tech-III
- 10th pass from a recognized Board Plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass from a recognized Board Plus ITI for appointment in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, S&T and Catering departments.
- 10th pass or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT for appointment in other departments.
Age Limit for NWR RRC Recruitment 2024
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2025 i.e must have been born not earlier than 02.01.2000 and not later than 01.01.2007. No age relaxation (upper age limit or lower age limit) shall be permissible.
Examination Fee for NWR RRC Recruitment 2024
For All Candidates: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) with a provision for refunding of 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred) to those candidates who actually appear in the trial.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/Minorities* & Economically Backward Classes: 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision for refunding the same to those candidates who actually appear in the trial.
Selection Procedure for NWR RRC Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be based upon Document Verification, performance in Sports Trials and assessment of sports achievement & educational qualification etc.
- Selection will be conducted by North Western Railway, Headquarter, Jaipur for vacancies of Head Quarter Quota and by respective Division/Workshop for vacancies of Divisions/Workshop Quota
- After scrutiny of applications by Scrutiny Committee short-listed eligible candidates will be called for Document Verification & Trial of sports performance.
- After Trial only the FIT Candidates in trial shall be considered for the next stage i.e. assessment of sports achievement & educational qualification by the Recruitment Committee
- Recruitment Committee shall award the marks (out of 60 marks) only to the FIT candidates for their sports achievements, educational qualifications etc. Candidates declared ‘NOT FIT’ will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee
- Assessment of sports achievement & educational qualification of the FIT candidates shall invariably be held on the same day, just after trials or at the most, next day of the trials.
- Recruitment Committee is to add the marks given by the Trial Committee to the FIT candidates (i.e., out of 40 marks), in order to make the final merit list (out of 100 marks.)

Document for NWR RRC Recruitment 2024
(i) Scanned self-attested copy of essential minimum prescribed sports qualification certificate or as prescribed
(ii) Scanned self-attested copy of certificate of Essential educational qualification as prescribed in para 3 (B) of the Notification.
(iii) Scanned self-attested copy of certificate for proof of Date of Birth (Standard 10th/Matriculation Certificate/Equivalent Education Certificate/Educational Certificate/School leaving certificate mentioning date of birth.
(iv) Scanned self-attested copy of caste/community certificate in prescribed format issued by the competent authority for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, wherever applicable.
(v) Scanned self attested copy of Income Certificate in prescribed format issued by the competent authority for EBC candidates.
(vi) Scanned self-attested copies of relevant certificates in proof of claiming exemption in examination fee.
(vii) Scanne000d self-attested copy of NOC from employer (If applicable).
(viii) Scanned self-attested copy of Aadhar Card.
(ix) Any certificate, photograph etc. sent separately after uploading of Application Form, will not be entertained.
(x) Scanned Photograph, Scanned Signature.
