NTPC has released the 2024 recruitment notification for 250 Deputy Manager positions across various engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Mechanical, C&I Erection, and Civil Construction. Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks and have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in relevant sectors like Power, Steel, Refinery, Fertilizer, Oil & Gas, or Cement, with at least 3 years of site experience in Erection, Maintenance, or Commissioning.
The upper age limit for all posts is 40 years, and the selected candidates will be placed in the E4 Grade with a salary range of Rs. 70,000-2,00,000/-. Applications must be submitted online by September 28, 2024, through NTPC’s official website. General/EWS/OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 300, while SC/ST/PwBD/XSM and female candidates are exempt from this fee.

Qualifications Details for NTPC Recruitment 2024
Deputy Manager (Electrical Erection)
- B.E/B. Tech Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (Including training/trainee period, if any) in Power/Steel/Refinery/ Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/ Cement sector out of which a minimum of 3 Years site experience in Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning in Electrical area.
Deputy Manager (Mechanical Erection)
- B.E/B. Tech Degree in Mechanical/Production with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. from a recognized University/Institution. (Including training/trainee period, if any) in Power/Steel/Refinery/ Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/ Cement out of which a minimum of 3 Years site experience in Erection/Maintenance / Commissioning in Mechanical area.
Deputy Manager (C&I Erection)
- B.E/B. Tech Degree in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (Including training/trainee period, if any) in the Power/Steel/Refinery/ Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/ Cement sector out of which a minimum of 3 Years site experience in Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning in C&I area.
Deputy Manager (Civil Construction)
- B.E/B. Tech Degree in Civil/Construction with at least 60% marks from a University/Institution. recognized
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (Including training/trainee period, if any) in Power/Steel/Refinery/ Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/ Cement sector out of which a minimum of 3 Years site experience in Civil Construction

Pay Scale for NTPC Recruitment 2024
- The candidates from Govt/Public Sector undertaking should provide pay-scale circular/matrix to verify minimum 02 years experience in the post and scale of Rs 60000-180000 or above (IDA pay scale of E3 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017 or equivalent level post/profile.
- The candidates should necessarily upload all documents while applying.
- Applications with incomplete / insufficient documents will be rejected / not considered for further process.

Application Fee for NTPC Recruitment 2024
- Candidates are required to possess a valid email ID. NTPC will not be responsible for bouncing back of any email sent to the candidates.
- Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBCcategory is required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/- The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category & female candidates need not pay the application fee.
- Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee, in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC.
- Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the "pay-in-slip" which is available on the application portal.
General Conditions for NTPC Recruitment 2024
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- All qualifications should be from Universities / Institutions recognized and approved in India.In terms of educational qualification, only pass marks are required by SC/ST/PwBD candidates in order to apply.
- All computations of age/ experience requirement/ qualification shall be done w.r.t. the last date of receipt of online application as mentioned in the advertisement.
- Candidates claiming to belong to any particular category shall necessarily have a valid EWS/OBC/SC/ST/Disability certificate, as the case may be from the Competent Authority.
- Whenever is vacancy identified for such category, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for OBC candidates, by 10 years for PwBD candidates, Relaxation of age to Ex-Serviceman as per Govt, guidelines.
- Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to cancel / restrict/ curtail/enlarge the number of vacancies, if need so arises, without any further notice and without assigning any reason thereof.

- The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money.
- This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online application. NTPC will not be responsible, in case a candidate deposits the fee in wrong account. Payment in online mode: Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card).
- The online payment option will be available in the online application form.
- Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility criteria before paying the application fee.
- After applying online, candidate is required to download the application slip generated by the system with unique application number.
- Copy of application slip may be retained by the candidate for future reference.
