The position requires a candidate with a Degree/Diploma in Engineering and a minimum of 30 years of experience in Purchase, Contract, and Store Management (C&M), ideally retiring at E6 level equivalent or above of NTPC. Responsibilities include coordinating with user departments for awarding Deposit work, amending Corporate Awarded Packages, and procuring from Local Cooperative Societies, among others.
Experience in handling various procurement activities, including services for events like Independence Day/Republic Day/VIP visits, medical camps, and contracts through GeM platform, is essential. Additionally, the candidate should possess knowledge of post-award activities, managing purchase orders, handling deviations, and miscellaneous tasks like vendor code management and contract closure.
Familiarity with delegation of power and circulars, as well as experience in store management, receipt, inspection, and risk management, particularly in NTPC combined cycle power plants and Thermal Plants, is required.
