Qualification for NRSC Recruitment 2024
- M.E./M.Tech with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading 6.5 on a 10 Point scale.
- M.Sc with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.
- B.E./B.Tech with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.
- B.Sc with 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point Scale.
- For candidates having Dual/Integrated degree
- Where a CGPA/Percentage for Graduation and Post-Graduation is mentioned separately in Dual/Integrated Degree Certificate, the CGPA/Percentage of the graduation and Post-Graduation shall be reckoned independently as per the existing procedure
- Where a common CGPA/Percentage applicable for the entire course of study is only mentioned in the Dual/Integrated Degree Certificate, the final CGPA/Percentage as mentioned in the Dual/ Integrated Degree Certificate as applicable
- Where a University does not prescribe any CGPA/Percentage in Dual/ Integrated Degree Certificate the cumulative CGPA/Percentage as per Final/Consolidated Page 12 of 20 Mark Sheet, as applicable for the entire course of study shall be reckoned for deciding the eligibility
- The above criteria will apply uniformly regardless of whether or not a University/Institution prescribes a formula to derive the CGPA/Percentage for Graduation/Post Graduation in its Dual/Integrated Degree Certificate.
- The Essential Qualifications should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University. Where a University mentions both CGPA and percentage of marks in its Degree Certificate or Consolidated Mark sheet, then at least one criterion (either CGPA or percentage) should meet DOS/ ISRO’s eligibility norms.

Pay Scale for NRSC Recruitment 2024
- Research Scientist (RS): Level 10 (₹56,100/-) in the Pay Matrix (as per VII CPC) + Dearness Allowance and HRA(if not provided with accommodation) at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid
- Project Scientist-I: The Project Scientist-I shall be paid ₹ 56,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid
- Project Scientist-B: The Project Scientist-I shall be paid ₹ 56,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation.
- Project Associate-I: The Project Associate-I shall be paid ₹31,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation
- Project Associate-II: The Project Associate-II shall be paid ₹35,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): The Junior Research Fellows (JRF) shall be paid ₹37,000/- per month with a possibility to be increased to ₹42,000/- as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) after two Pages 11 of 20 years upon successful completion and review of research work of the previous two years by a review committee
Place of Posting for NRSC Recruitment 2024
District; Jeedimetla and Balanagar in Hyderabad; Regional Remote Sensing Centres (RRSCs) located in Nagpur, New Delhi, Kolkata, Jodhpur and Bengaluru. The selected candidates are likely to be posted at any one of the above Campuses. However, NRSC reserves the right to post the candidates to any of its work centres/all India posting based on project requirements
Age Limit for NRSC Recruitment 2024
28 years to 40 Years. Ex-Servicemen & Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India orders. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates should produce relevant Certificate as issued by the competent authorities for availing upper age relaxation.
Selection Procedure for NRSC Recruitment 2024
- The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same doesn’t automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for interview.
- NRSC reserves right to screen the applications received for the posts based on the given eligibility criteria and may also fix such criteria as it may consider necessary for shortlisting the candidates for interview
- The screened-in/shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- Communication shall be sent through email only to the screened-in/shortlisted candidates. NRSC will not entertain any correspondence on the issue of shortlisting of candidates.
- The call letters for the interview to the short-listed candidates will be sent only by e-mail. No communication shall be made to the candidates who are not short-listed/ not screened in.
How to Apply for NRSC Recruitment 2024
- Applications will be received on-line only.
- The applications for online registration will be accepted on the NRSC website (https://www.nrsc.gov.in/Career_Apply) from 18.03.2024 (1200 hours) to 08.04.2024 (1700 hours).
- Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. The E-mail ID and Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application correctly and compulsorily.
- All further communications to the candidate shall be through his / her registered e-mail ID / NRSC website only. The candidates are advised to check their e-mail (including spam/ junk folders) regularly and visit the NRSC website from time to time for updates. NRSC will not be responsible for non-receipt of any intimation sent/provided as aforesaid, and no representation on the matter will be entertained.
