Walk-in-Interview for engagement of 02 General duty Medical Officers as full time Contract Medical Practitioners(CMPs) over MB Divl. of Northern Railway.

Qualification for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024

• Candidates must possess an MBBS degree.
• The MBBS degree must be recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Completion of internship or higher qualification is required.
• For CMP from Open Market: - The engagement will be offered purely on contract basis for a period of one year or less from the date of contract, which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basisby giving at least one week's break from the expiry of each term, subject to extension of delegation of power to DRM beyond one year, not extendable beyond 12 terms or up to 65 years of age or till such time Doctors selected by UPSC become available, whichever is earlier.
• For CMP Retired Doctors of Railways, State & Central Government:-The engagement will be offered purely on contract basis for a period of one year or less from the date of contract, which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basisby giving at least one week's break from the expiry of each term, subject to extension of delegation of power to DRM beyond one year, not extendable beyond 07 terms or up to 67 years of age or till such time Doctors selected by UPSC become available, whichever is earlier.

Salary for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024

• GDMO/CMP: Monthly Remuneration of Rs 75,000/- (Fixed)
• No other allowances are admissible except
• Fixed daily allowance for official duty.

Age Limit for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024

For Open Market:

• The entry-level age limit for candidates applying as CMP should not exceed 53 years as of the date of this notification.
• Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.

For Retired Railway Doctors and Central/State Govt Retired Doctors:

• Candidates should not have surpassed 65 years of age as of the date of this notification.

Terms and Condtions for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024

• The CMP engaged on contract basis will not be allowed private Practice
• The CMP will not be entitled for Railway Quarter as a matter of right
• Candidate, if working , NOC from current employer is to be produced with the application at the time of interview.
• No private practice or any other employment will be permitted during the period of contract.
• No TA/DA/Accommodation and conveyance charges shall be paid for appearing in walk-in-interview.
• At the time of entering into contract, the CMP shall produce certificate of his/her character and antecedents from two
• Gazetted officers of Central/State Government.
• The willing candidates should bring their Application form in two copies in the prescribed format along with all
• original and self attested copies of certificates/ testimonials with two Passport size photographs at the time of Walk-in-interview.

Walk-In Interview Details for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024

• Candidate should submit their Application in duplicate on prescribed Performa enclosed herewith latest by 11-00 AM at above mentioned venue on the day of walk-in-Interview only in person.
• Thereafter no application will be entertained.
• Medical examination will be held after the walk-in Interview.
• Interview may be continued on the next day if not completed on the assigned date.
• Joining of the selected candidates :- After approval of panel by competent authority the panel will be published,notified and intimated through Text message/Email/WhatsApp.
• The offer of engagement will be issued in favour of selected candidates.
• The selected candidates have to join as per date mentioned in the offer of appointment letter.
• The candidates who do not report on the assigned date and time will forfeit their chance of contract engagement and such opportunity will be offered to the next empanelled/waitlisted candidates
