Position, Vacancy for North Eastern Council Secretariat Recruitment 2024
The North Eastern Council Secretariat is looking for services of suitable officers for filling up 01(one) post of Deputy Adviser (Irrigation, Flood Control and Water Management) on Deputation (including short term contract) basis as per the provisions of Recruitment Rules.

Qualification for North Eastern Council Secretariat Recruitment 2024
- Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in leve-11 (Rs.67700-208700/-) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
- Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or institute. ten years' experience in the field of hydrology planning or investigation or design or construction and execution of water resources development projects.
Pay Scale for North Eastern Council Secretariat Recruitment 2024
Scale of Pay: Level 12 (Rs.78800 - 209200/-) of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC. The pay and other terms and conditions of deputation will be regulated in accordance with DOPT's O&M No.6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dt.17.06.2010 as amended from time to time
Age Limit for North Eastern Council Secretariat Recruitment 2024
- Period of deputation (including short term contract) including period of deputation (including short term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four years.
- The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not be exceeding 56 (fifty six) years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.
