NITI Aayog has released a recruitment notification for the position of Upper Division Clerk with two vacancies available. The role is based in New Delhi, and the selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100. The last date to apply is October 28, 2024.
To be eligible, candidates must be officers from the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory Administrations, including their attached and subordinate offices. They should hold a similar position on a regular basis in their parent cadre or department and have at least eight years of regular service as a Lower Division Clerk in Pay Level-2.
Departmental officers in the feeder category and deputationists are not eligible for promotion or consideration for appointment on deputation. The deputation period, including any previous deputation to other departments, should not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation is 56 years as of the closing date of application submission.

Qualifications Details for NITI Aayog Recruitment 2024
- Officers from the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administrations (including their attached and subordinate offices)
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department
- Having eight years regular service as Lower Division Clerk in Pay Level - 2.
- The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.
- Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
- Period of deputation including period of deputation (including short term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Age Limit for NITI Aayog Recruitment 2024
- The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.
