NIT Warangal has announced vacancies for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in its 2024 recruitment drive. There is one vacancy available with a salary of Rs. 31,000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 35,000/- per month for the third year. Hostel accommodation on campus will be provided based on availability.
First class with not less than 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or allied disciplines. Additionally, a first-class M.Tech degree in relevant disciplines is required. Candidates with a valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials science, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or allied disciplines and at least a CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% marks in their B.Tech/B.E. are eligible. For candidates with an M.Sc. in Chemistry or allied disciplines: First class with not less than 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA, along with a qualified NET/GATE score.
The subject line of the email should mention "Application for the JRF position." Interview details will be communicated via email to eligible candidates. Applicants currently employed must provide a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from their employer, while students should furnish a provisional degree certificate or its equivalent during the interview.
The selected candidate is expected to provide a Relieving Certificate from their current employer or a provisional degree certificate if they are a student, and join the duties within a week after being notified of their selection. NIT Warangal Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- First class with not less than 60% aggregate /6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) in B. Tech./B.E. in Chemical Engineering / Energy Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Science/ Metallurgical Engineering and allied disciplines and First class with not less than 60% aggregate / 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) in M.Tech in relevant disciplines.
- B. Tech/B. E. in Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy/Materials science/Mechanical Engineering/Energy Engineering/allied disciplines with a valid GATE score and at least a CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% of marks.
- First class with not less than 60% aggregate / 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) M.Sc. Chemistry and allied disciplines with qualified NET/GATE score.
