National Institute of Technology Raipur is seeking applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DST funded project in the Computer Science and Engineering Department. The project focuses on digitising and preserving the heritage of Sirpur.
The JRF will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship of Rs. 31,000 plus HRA if accommodation is not provided by the Institute. The essential qualification is a degree in CS/IT/ECE/EE or relevant field with first division, and GATE/NET qualification is desirable. The duration of the position is 3 years, extendable based on performance.

Qualification for NIT Raipur Recruitment 2024
Essential Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc. (Engg) in CS/IT/ECE/EE or any other relevant field from a recognized Institute/University with First division.
Desirable Qualification:

Candidates with GATE/NET qualification are preferred.
Salary for NIT Raipur Recruitment 2024
- Applications are open for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a time-bound research project in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the National Institute of Technology Raipur.
- The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship of Rs. 31,000, along with HRA if accommodation is not provided by the Institute.
Selection Procedure for NIT Raipur Recruitment 2024
- Candidates will be short listed for Interview based on merit and will be informed via email only.
- Shortlisted candidates shall appear in person with original marksheets and degree certificates, date of birth proof, identity proof along with any other relevant information (like copies of publications, experience certificates, awards, recommendations, etc.) and one set of self-attested copy of all testimonials.
- No travelling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
- Mere fulfilment of minimum educational qualification does not necessarily entitle applicants to be called for an interview .
- The Institute reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates based on qualification and suitability.
- The selection will be cancelled if any discrepancies are found in the submitted documents at the time of Physical verification.
