Qualifications Details for NIT Patna Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D. Degree or Notification of Ph. D. award issued by the authorized signatory (not the Mentor/Supervisor/Head of the Department).
- One year post Ph. D experience of Teaching and Research in Institution of repute or Industry
- Three years after Ph.D. or six years total teaching and research experience in reputed academic Institute or Research and Development Labs or relevant industry.
- Six years after Ph.D. of which at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of ₹ 8000; Or Nine years total working experience, of which three years should be after Ph.D., with at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of ₹ 8000.
Pay Scale for NIT Patna Recruitment 2024
The positions available include Assistant Professor (Grade-II) at Level-10 as per the pay matrix of the 7th CPC, Assistant Professor (Grade-II) at Level-11 as per the pay matrix of the 7th CPC, and Assistant Professor (Grade-I) at Level-12 as per the pay matrix of the 7th CPC. Additionally, there are opportunities for Associate Professors at Level-13A2 and Professors at Level-14A, both according to the pay matrix of the 7th CPC.
