NIT Mizoram Recruitment 2024
The National Institute of Technology Mizoram (NIT Mizoram) is inviting applications for the position of Institute Post Doctoral Fellow (IPDF) for the year 2024. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. from a recognized institution and have published at least two research papers in SCI/SCIE/SSCI journals. The application fee is ₹500 for General/OBC candidates and ₹200 for SC/ST candidates. Women Ph.D. holders will be given preference, and graduates from NIT Mizoram are not eligible. The fellowship is initially for one year, with a monthly stipend of ₹65,000, which may increase to ₹67,000 if extended for another year.
Interested candidates should submit a detailed CV via email to the relevant department by September 30, 2024, along with self-attested supporting documents and proof of payment. The selection will involve an interview conducted by the Institute Post-Doctoral Selection Committee, with results announced by October 15, 2024. Eligibility Criteria for NIT Mizoram Recruitment 2024
- The applicant must have obtained the Ph.D Degree from an Institute of Repute.
- NIT Mizoram Ph.D Degree holders are not eligible under this scheme.
- The applicant should have published at least 2 research papers in SCI/SCIE/SSCI journals.
- Women Ph.D will be given preference.
Post-Doctoral Fellows Tenure and Fellowships for NIT Mizoram Recruitment 2024
- The appointment of Institute Post-doctoral Fellows is of purely a temporary assignment and is tenable for an initial period of 1 year that can be extended to a maximum period of another 1 year based on the recommendation of concerned Supervisor and subsequent approval of the Competent Authority.
- The amount of the fellowship for IPDF will be fixed at ₹. 65,000/- only per month inclusive of HRA for a period of one year and if the IPDF term is renewed for 1 more year then the fellowship will be ₹. 67,000/- only per month considering ~3% increase inclusive of HRA.

Important Dates for NIT Mizoram Recruitment 2024
- Last date for submission of CV along with all supporting documents: 30th September 2024 up to 5:00 PM.
- Submission of hard copy of CV and the supporting documents verification of the documents: Will be done prior to joining.
- Selection of Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow will be done by the Institute PostDoctoral Selection Committee. Interview will be conducted for the selection. Date for the same will be intimated preferably by email later.
- Verification of documents to be conducted by concerned Department.
- List of Selected Candidates shall be announced by 15th October 2024.
- Selected IPDF are expected to joint by 1st November 2024.
