NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
NIT Meghalaya is inviting applications for the position of Guest Faculty in Mathematics on a temporary/contractual basis from 24th July to 6th December 2024. The vacancy requires candidates to hold a Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted) in Mathematics, preferably in Analysis or Applied Mathematics.
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 50,000 per month. Free hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided if required, but no other allowances or benefits like medical reimbursement, pension, or gratuity are applicable. The selection process includes a physical on-site interview scheduled tentatively for 15th July 2024 at NIT Meghalaya, Shillong.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email and must ensure their application includes all required documents and a correct email ID for correspondence. Qualification for NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
Period of appointment: The appointment is from 24th July to 6th Dec 2024 (Purely on a temporary / contractual basis). Essential Qualification: Ph.D (completed or thesis submitted) in Mathematics (preferably in Analysis/Applied Mathematics)
Pay Scale for NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
The selected candidate may be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month or as per the institute rule. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pension/gratuity etc. is applicable. Free hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided, if required.
Selection Procedure for NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
- The interview will be conducted on-site (Physical). Requests for an online interview will not be entertained.
- The interview will be held tentatively on 15th July 2024 from 11:00 am.
- The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview via email.
- Candidates are required to write the correct and valid email id in their application forms as all the correspondence will be through this email id only.

- Interested candidates need to fill in the required data in the attached application form.
- The duly filled application form must be submitted in soft copy along with the scanned copies of original documents mentioned in the application form, published paper (if any), etc. for verification.
- The candidates must carry the original application form along with all the relevant documents on the day of the interview if shortlisted.
- An incomplete form shall not be considered for shortlisting, and the criteria for shortlisting shall be as per the institute's requirements and norms.
