NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies, Check Eligibility at nitm.ac.in
NIT Meghalaya is seeking applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a project titled "Development of On-chip MEMS Pressure Sensor based Tensiometer for Agriculture" led by Dr. Prabir Kumar Saha, with Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rathore and Dr. Shubhankar Majumdar as Co-Principal Investigators. The fellowship offers a monthly stipend of INR 37,000 and accommodation as per institute norms for a maximum of five years or until the project's completion in 2028.
Candidates with an M.Tech/M.E. in VLSI, microelectronics, or related fields, or an M.Sc. with a valid GATE/NET qualification, or GATE-qualified candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related disciplines are eligible to apply.
Knowledge of EDA tools is preferable, and experience in Analog and Digital Design, Sensor Design, IoT, or SoC is desired. The application deadline is June 11, 2024, with interviews tentatively scheduled for June 24, 2024, at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Meghalaya. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Qualifications Details for NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
Candidates with an M.Tech / M.E. in VLSI, microelectronics, or related disciplines with experience in EDA tools. or M.Sc. with valid GATE/NET qualification or GATE-qualified candidates with a B.Tech. / B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related disciplines. Knowledge of EDA tools is preferable.
Pay Scale for NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
Fellowship will be INR 37000/- p.m., and accommodation will be as per institute norms. The fellowship is available for a maximum period of 5 years / until the end of the project. Candidates are allowed to pursue a PhD as per the institute norms.
Selection Process for NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
- The shortlisted candidate will be intimated for the interview/examination.
- The short-listed candidates for interviews will be intimated only through emails. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the interview and/or joining the position.
- Mere possession of the minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit and need of the project. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear in the interview, and no other communication will be entertained. The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.
