The Department of Civil Engineering at NIT Meghalaya invites applications for the position of Project Associate for the project "Life and Serviceability Estimation of Steel Bridges" sponsored by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India, under the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). The tenure of the project is 18 months, and the initial appointment for the Project Associate is one year, extendable based on performance.
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly compensation of Rs. 25,000. The applicant must hold a Master's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Responsibilities include conducting laboratory and field experiments, data collection and analysis, and other project-related tasks.
Applicants must not exceed 33 years of age and are required to submit their applications via email to [email protected] within one month of the advertisement's publication, following the specified format. The interview details will be communicated via email to shortlisted candidates.
