The National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, is seeking applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a CSIR-funded research project. The project involves the development of a Near-infrared responsive liposomal nano-system for sensing and bioimaging of hydrogen sulphide.
Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks and qualify NET/GATE. The fellowship is Rs. 31,000 per month for the first two years, increasing to Rs. 35,000 per month for the third year. Qualification for NIT Kurukshetra Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc (Chemistry) or equivalent degree from a recognized Institute/University with at least 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and passing of NET/GATE test.
- Candidates should have good data analysis, technical writing skills and working knowledge of computers.
Salary for NIT Kurukshetra Recruitment 2024
- Fellowship 1 st & 2nd Year Rs. 31,000 p/m (Consolidated) and 3rd year 35,000 p/m (Consolidated).
- The Position is initially for 1 year and extendable until the tenure of the project.
Age Limit for NIT Kurukshetra Recruitment 2024
- Age Limit is 28 years
- Age relaxation The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 as on the day on which the application is made.
- The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Terms and Conditions for NIT Kurukshetra Recruitment 2024
- The position is purely on a temporary basis and will be governed by the Administrative rules conditions of Research & Consultancy Cell, NIT Kurukshetra.
- Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
- The project duration is 3 years for the position is co-terminus with the project.
- The interview schedule will be notified to the shortlisted candidates by email soon after the last date of application.
- The position is temporary and is extendable till the completion of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
- The Institute reserves the right to cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason.
- The candidate selected for the above position will have the option to register for a PhD program at the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetrain.
- However, for admission to PhD program, the candidate must meet certain eligibility requirements and also qualify the written examination and interview as per rules and regulation of NIT-Kurukshetra
